Police on Friday arrested an 86-year-old man on suspicion of manslaughter, after his wife's body was found at their home in To Kwa Wan.

Officers said they received a call from the couple's son on Thursday afternoon, saying his 81-year-old mother was unconscious in a flat at Lok Man Sun Chuen.

The woman was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was certified dead.

Police said the woman had been intubated because of a chronic illness and they found her death to be suspicious because there was blood on the tube.
