Elderly Couple To Appear In Court Over Murder Charge

Police on Monday laid a holding charge of murder against a 74-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man.
The couple was arrested on Sunday in connection with the death of 47-year-old woman.
Police said they received a call at about 1:30 in the morning on Sunday, and arrived at a flat in Tsz Wan Shan to find the couple's chronically-ill daughter with wounds to her head and neck, and a hammer inside the flat.
The case will be mentioned at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts on Monday morning.
