The Chief Executive, Carrie Lam, has admitted that there is room for the government to improve its working relationship with the media.

Writing on her Facebook page, Lam said she held a brainstorming session with principal officials and their press secretaries on Saturday afternoon.

She agreed that there are areas which the government could do better in, but stopped short of saying what they are.

The Carrie Lam-administration has come under fire for failing to cooperate with the media by, for example, issuing important press releases or statements in the middle of the night.
