Brinc, a Hong Kong-based venture acceleration and corporate innovation firm, has acquired OG Club, a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) focused on Web3 innovation and entrepreneurship.

The acquisition represents a step in Brinc’s expansion of its digital assets ecosystem.

In 2024, Brinc launched its Token Advisory arm with Ignit3, complementing its existing Web3 accelerators.

As part of the integration, OG Club’s community will be rebranded as the VentureVerse community.

VentureVerse, an AI-driven venture capital operating system, aims to provide digital infrastructure for entrepreneurship, offering AI tools and agents designed to support founders throughout the venture lifecycle.

Its goal is to democratise access to resources for founders globally to start and scale businesses.

The collaboration brings together Brinc’s experience in accelerating more than 1,250 startups worldwide with OG Club’s community of over 25,000 members and 10,000 wallet holders across ten countries.

OG Club also operates a newsletter network reaching over 100 publications.

The organisation has hosted more than 300 events worldwide and built connections with over 100 Web3 companies.

“This acquisition represents a pivotal moment in our journey to create the most comprehensive Web3 ecosystem for startups, investors, and innovators,”

said Manav Gupta, Founder and CEO of Brinc.

“OG Club’s proven track record in community building and ecosystem development, combined with our global accelerator network and digital assets platform, will create unprecedented opportunities for Web3 entrepreneurs worldwide. VentureVerse will become the nexus where innovation meets investment, powered by real utility through our upcoming token economy.”

OG Club leadership added:

“Joining forces with Brinc opens incredible possibilities for our community and the broader Web3 ecosystem. Our shared vision of democratising access to innovation and creating inclusive opportunities for builders worldwide makes this collaboration a natural fit. We’re excited to leverage Brinc’s global network and resources to amplify our impact and drive meaningful growth in the decentralised future.”

The VentureVerse platform will integrate community engagement with AI tools and blockchain technology, providing startups with access to funding, mentorship, and resources while enabling investors to identify potential opportunities through AI-driven insights.

Central to the platform is a forthcoming utility token, designed to facilitate access to AI applications, reward contributions, and support governance across the ecosystem.

This acquisition follows Brinc’s continued expansion in Web3, including US$30 million raised in a Series B funding round led by Animoca Brands and the launch of multiple blockchain-focused accelerator programmes.

The company has accelerated over 1,250 startups with a combined market capitalisation exceeding US$1.6 billion.
