Li Sze-man of the Business and Professionals Alliance has won the by-election for the Tai Nan constituency of the Yau Tsim Mong district council.

She received 1,343 votes, beating Lee Kwok-kuen of Community March, who got 1,134. Lee was backed the pro-democracy camp.

The by-election was caused by the death Chong Wing-charn last November.

Chong had been a member of Kowloon West New Dynamic, a grouping with ties to the Business and Professionals Alliance.
