Firefighters on Thursday removed a huge yellow banner criticising police that had been hung from Devil's Peak in Yau Tong.
The police received a report at around 6am about the banner, which read in Chinese, "Against Bad Cops, Protect Students".
Police officers have been accused of using excessive force against anti-extradition law protesters, many of them students, after clashes erupted outside Legco on June 12.
Similar banners have been unfurled in recent weeks opposing the extradition bill.
