Police from the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau have arrested four men and a woman on suspicion of desecrating the national flag.

The move comes after the flag was taken from a flagpole in Tsim Sha Tsui earlier this month and thrown into the sea, following an anti-extradition protest.

Police raided addresses in Mong Kok, Ma On Shan, Sham Shui Po, Ngau Tau Kok and Wong Tai Sin. They took away computers and mobile phones as evidence.
