Ant Digital Technologies has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager, to jointly develop tokenised fund solutions.
It pairs Ant Digital Technologies’ blockchain infrastructure with Amundi’s asset management expertise and distribution network across Europe.
Anvita, Ant Digital Technologies’ overseas brand for tokenisation and blockchain platforms, will handle the tokenisation work.
Amundi will contribute its fund management experience and its presence in European markets.
The agreement gives Ant Digital Technologies a foothold in Europe. It also gives Amundi access to Asia-Pacific.
Hong Kong has emerged as a hub for tokenised finance in the region, and Ant Digital Technologies has based its international headquarters in the city since 2025.

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in bringing our blockchain and fintech expertise to the European market, while supporting Amundi’s growth ambitions in Asia-Pacific,”
said Zhuoqun Bian, President of Blockchain Business at Ant Digital Technologies.
Neither company has disclosed a timeline for moving from the MOU to a commercial product, or said which fund types the tokenisation work will target first.
The deal is separate from an earlier tokenisation partnership between Amundi and Ant International, another Ant Group entity.
That partnership produced tokenised share classes of an Amundi money market fund in June 2026. The two firms signed their original agreement in November 2025.
