A 31-year-old man appeared in Tuen Mun Court on Thursday charged with taking part in a gang murder at a McDonald's restaurant in Tin Shui Wai almost a decade ago.

He was handed over to Hong Kong by mainland authorities on Tuesday.

No plea was entered and the case was adjourned until April 11.

Three other men charged with the killing were also brought back to the territory from the mainland last month.

Four others have already been jailed over the attack in 2008, in which a 25-year-old man was beaten to death.
