Health officials said on Saturday that they're investigating another case of measles, bringing the total number of cases for the year to 55.

The Centre for Health Protection said the latest case involves a 25-year-old male airport worker, who had reportedly had a measles vaccination.

The man visited a doctor on Friday and then went to the accident and emergency department at North Lantau Hospital.

He was transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital the same day, and is in a stable condition.

He had travelled to Thailand during the incubation period.

Health officials have beefed up measures at the airport since the measles outbreak, setting up vaccine stations, which have now vaccinated 7,937 people.
