A doctor at Tuen Mun Hospital has been arrested on suspicion of taking a dangerous drug while on duty.

On Tuesday, the doctor, from the Accident and Emergency Unit, allegedly left his work station for over an hour while on duty and then returned looking unwell.

The hospital later reported the case to officers, who arrested him at his apartment on Friday.

Sources say traces of marijuana were found in his urine.

Tuen Mun Hospital says it has gone through the records of the patients that the doctor had treated over the past three months.
