The government on Friday picked up 18 Covid infections following the overnight lockdowns of two buildings in Tai Hang and Wong Tai Sin.

14 cases were detected in Lai Kit Lau of Lai Tak Tsuen, where a total of 932 people were tested.

The remaining four cases were found in Chi Mei House of Choi Hung Estate. There were also two indeterminate results.

Separately, a block in Diamond Hill was sealed off for testing.

Officials said they expect to complete the operation in Toi Fung House of Fung Tak Estate at around 8am on Saturday.
