Police Say 33 People Hurt In Bus Crash

Police said 33 people were injured, and 14 were taken to hospital after a bus smashed into a crash barrier on the Kwun Tong Bypass in Kowloon Bay on Saturday evening.

The number 307 KMB bus was travelling towards the Tate's Cairn tunnel when the accident happened near Richland Gardens at around 6.40pm.

The front of bus was left mangled and shattered glass filled the lower deck.

Blood stains were visible inside the vehicle and some of those treated by ambulance staff appeared to have head wounds.

There was no word on what caused the crash.
