Tuen Mun Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital have confirmed that two patients with Covid-19 died on Saturday, taking the death toll here to 33.

They are a 90-year-old woman with a chronic disease and a 92-year-old woman who had congestive heart failure and diabetes.

They had been admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 26 and July 12 respectively.

Both had fevers, while the 92-year-old had also suffered from a fall. Four other Covid-19 patients, all in their seventies and eighties and with chronic illnesses, died earlier in the day.
