Driver Dies After Cement Mixer Truck Falls Off Bridge

The driver of a cement mixer truck died on Thursday after his vehicle fell from a bridge in Cheung Sha Wan.

A school bus ploughed into the truck, leaving the bus driver and three members of school staff onboard slightly injured.

No children were on the bus when the accident happened at around noon.

The truck was travelling along the Tsing Sha Highway when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and it fell off a bridge over the intersection of Lin Cheung Road and Lai Po Road.

The truck driver died after being taken to hospital.
