China’s anti-graft agency said it is investigating the general manager of state-owned China Shipbuilding Industry Corp (CSIC), a major naval vessel manufacturer in the country.
Sun Bo is suspected of serious disciplinary and legal violations. The country's top anti-graft agency, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, announced the investigation on its website on Saturday.
CSIC is the manufacturer of the mainland's first aircraft carrier, which was launched in April last year and is expected to enter service in 2020.
