Former justice minister Fu Zhenghua is being prosecuted for alleged corruption.

According to Xinhua News Agency, "a public prosecution has been initiated... over suspected bribe-taking and bending the law for personal gains" in the case against Fu.

The Changchun Municipal People's Procuratorate in Jilin Province recently filed a lawsuit with the Intermediate People's Court of Changchun.
