Mainland authorities have reported 67 new Covid-19 cases, 28 of them locally transmitted infections.

According to the National Health Commission, Guangxi accounted for nearly half of the local cases with 13. There were 11 infections in Liaoning, two in Yunnan, and one in Guangdong and Tianjin each.

Meanwhile, health authorities reported 34 asymptomatic cases on Saturday.

One of them was from Yunnan while the rest involved patients who arrived from outside the mainland. (Additional reporting by Xinhua)
