    The police arrested the coach driver on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kwai Chung on Friday afternoon in which an 82-year-old woman died.

At about 2.20 pm, a coach driven by a 64-year-old man was travelling along Hing Ning Road towards Container Port Road.

When approaching the Kwai Fong MTR Station, it reportedly knocked down the 82-year-old woman as she was crossing the road.

The woman was trapped under the coach and was rescued by firemen.

She was rushed unconscious to Princess Margaret Hospital with multiple injuries, where she was certified dead a short while later.

The coach driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death, and detained for further enquiries.
