Most of Friday's flights between Hong Kong and Taipei have been cancelled as Super Typhoon Lekima passes to the north-east of Taiwan.

According to the Airport Authority's app, Cathay Pacific, Cathay Dragon and Eva Air have cancelled all of their morning and afternoon flights.

There has also been cancellation or delays to flights by China Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines.

The Airport Authority has advised passengers to check with their airlines before departing for the airport.
