The government on Thursday evening locked down two residential blocks in Tuen Mun – the homes of two nurses working in clinics in the district who have tested preliminary positive for Covid-19.

Testing has been ordered for residents of JC Place Tower 1 in Castle Peak Bay and Block 2 of Hoi Tak Gardens on Wing Fat Lane.

Health officials said those who've recently been to the buildings must also be tested for the coronavirus.

They hope to finish their operations by 7am on Friday.
