Hong Kong Express says it has launched an investigation into the collision of two of its aircraft on the tarmac of Chek Lap Kok airport on Wednesday morning.

No one was injured.

In a statement, Hong Kong Express said the incident happened during an aircraft-towing incident involving two non-operating planes.

The Airport Authority said an aircraft that was being towed struck a plane parked on the tarmac. Both planes suffered damage.

A Hong Kong Express spokesman said the company was in contact with its service provider and investigating what happened.
