Health officials on Sunday locked down a public housing block in Tung Chung, after sewage samples there tested positive for Covid-19.

Residents and recent visitors of Ying Yat House of Yat Tung (One) Estate must get tested and then stay at home until further notice.

The government added that residents there had also recently tested preliminary positive for the coronavirus.

Officials expect to complete the operation by around 3 pm on Monday.
