The government on Wednesday afternoon locked down a block in Tin Shui Wai, after sewage samples there tested positive for Covid-19.

Residents and visitors of Shing Yin House of Tin Shing Court must get tested.

The authorities said they suspect there are asymptomatic patients in the building, and the risk of infection there is likely higher.

Officials expect the operation to finish at around noon on Thursday.
