Hong Kong recorded three new Covid-19 cases involving returnees on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the SAR to 1,102.
The new patients are three females aged eight to 73, who had returned to Hong Kong from India and the UK on Thursday and Friday.
The Centre for Health Protection said officials are also investigating a separate case involving a 68-year-old man who arrived from Canada on Thursday who said he had earlier tested positive for the virus.
Authorities also said that six out of the 75 residents evacuated from Lek Yuen Estate in Sha Tin on Thursday have been sent to hospital because they felt unwell, but all have tested negative for Covid-19.
The Hospital Authority said that as of 4pm on Friday, 51 patients with the coronavirus remained in hospital, with two in a critical condition.
