Three arrested over 'smoke bomb' seizure

Police have arrested three people over the seizure of what officers described as "smoke bombs" at a flat in Tin Shui Wai on Thursday night.

No further details have been released except that those arrested were a man and two women.

Police carrying riot shields were also seen searching an industrial building in Fo Tan at around midnight, removing several bags full of unknown material.

Tin Shui Wai was the scene of violence in the early hours of Wednesday as lit fireworks were shot into a crowd of demonstrators who were besieging the local police station over the arrest of anti-extradition campaigners there.
