Customs on Monday arrested a 17-year-old male after finding suspected cocaine, with a street value of about HK$3.1 million, hidden in an air cargo consignment from Ethiopia at Hong Kong International Airport.

Officers discovered about 2.8 kilograms of the suspected drugs inside five wooden items.

The teenager has been charged with one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug. He will appear at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on Wednesday.
