The Centre for Health Protection on Friday reported six coronavirus cases, including two local infections with unknown sources.
The centre said it is unable to trace the source of infection of a 56-year-old resident in Tai Po who developed symptoms on Saturday. He works at a medical library at Prince of Wales Hospital.
It is also unknown how a 65-year-old retiree caught the virus. The patient, who lives in Mong Kok, developed symptoms on Monday.
Two other locally acquired cases are linked to previous infections.
One of them is the wife of a taxi driver who was confirmed to be infected.
The other is a trainee teacher at Heep Yunn School in Ma Tau Wai, who is a classmate of a Baptist University student who came down with Covid-19 earlier.
The secondary school has suspended face-to-face classes until November 24. All students are advised to get tested for Covid-19.
There are two imported cases from Germany and Indonesia.
