Now TV said on Wednesday that another of its video editors has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
If confirmed in a final test, this will be the second case found at the broadcaster as another video editor had tested positive for the virus already.
Now TV had evacuated its Wan Chai office on Tuesday and activated a back-up plan to move its news team to another floor of Telecom House after the first case, so as to stay on air.
The network said its broadcasting operations will not be affected.
It is believed that the second editor to test positive had not reported for work on Tuesday as she had developed a fever the night before.
Now TV said the woman had worked on the same shift as the film editor confirmed to be carrying the virus.
She then sought treatment at Tin Shui Wai Hospital and was later put into an isolation ward at Pok Oi Hospital.
The TV station also said that the girlfriend of the first employee to come down with the virus has tested negative. The girlfriend works at RTHK.
