Reports of fighting came in from multiple MTR stations on Sunday night, following serious violence earlier on in Yuen Long.
By around 12.20am, police had received reports of an assault in Tai Po Market Station, fighting in Tuen Mun Station, while suspicious people were reported at Tin Shui Wai Station.
The Fire Services Department was also called out to Long Ping Station.
Earlier, trains had stopped serving Yuen Long after gangs of men wearing white t-shirts tore through the station wielding sticks and attacking passengers.
Video footage showed some people even being attacked inside a train that had stopped in the station.
Before midnight, Yuen Long Station was closed completely. This didn't stop the violence however, with fighting also breaking out just outside.
