A group of protesters on Tuesday turned up outside lawmaker Junius Ho's office in Tin Shui Wai, shouting slogans and sticking anti-government post-it notes on the premises.
The group of around 20 protesters accused Ho of supporting alleged triad members who beat up MTR passengers indiscriminately in Yuen Long.
The protesters in masks chanted slogans like “kick away evil Ho” and “withdraw the extradition bill” while posting anti-government memos on banner of the lawmaker and on the glass door of the office.
One teenager was also holding two packs of eggs.
About 15 minutes later four to five police officers arrived at the scene, saying they had received a call for help. The protesters left as soon as they saw the police approaching.
A lone staff member at the lawmaker’s office then shut down the office and left with the police officers.
