  • Protesters barred from besieging services quarters

The High Court granted an interim injunction late on Monday banning people from blocking or occupying roads outside all disciplined services quarters.

The ban also covers any damage, trespassing and disturbance caused at more than 20 such quarters.

The Justice Department, which applied for the injunction, said there are signs of escalating violence outside these venues, with a number coming under frequent siege from protesters since August, particularly one in Wong Tai Sin.
