A handful of government supporters on Wednesday protested outside the government’s headquarters, calling for the disqualification of Civic Party lawmaker Dennis Kwok.

Jason Lam, spokesman of the Real Hongkongers View, said it’s a joke that Kwok has failed to help elect a new chairman for Legco’s House Committee, after having chaired more then a dozen meetings.

Lam said Kwok is wasting Hong Kong peoples’ time as many bills concerning public welfare can’t be processed.

All of our people, all the Hong Kong people will be very disappointed with [Kwok’s actions],” he said.

He said the pro-democracy lawmaker should stop filibustering in the remaining term.
