Several protesters from a pro-Beijing group demonstrated outside the US Consulate in Central on Friday morning, accusing Washington of violating human rights with its response to the ongoing protests in the country.
They called for US President Donald Trump to step down as they condemned racism in the States and chanted "shame on white privilege".
The group, New Millenarian, also said Washington should stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs by opposing Beijing's planned national security legislation for the SAR.
They said Trump is just trying to shift the focus away from his own failings.
The demonstrators, who declined to be interviewed, handed a protest letter to staff from the consulate.
Not long afterwards, another eight people staged a protest outside the consulate, with similar complaints about the US, and urging the country to focus on its coronavirus crisis rather than interfering in Hong Kong.
