Police said on Saturday that a 32-year-old civilian staffer living in Yat Kwai House has tested preliminary positive for Covid.

They said she works at the Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch.

They said the woman last went to work at the Tsuen Wan Government Offices on January 20.

Police said officers and civilian staff who might have been in contact with her will be tested for Covid, and her close contacts will be quarantined.

The government has imposed a five-day lockdown of Yat Kwai House which started on Friday.
