Kalvin Ho speaks to RTHK's Jimmy Choi
Members of the Civil Human Rights Front have filed a report at North Point Police Station, saying they fear a gang attack on anti-extradition bill protesters this Sunday,
They urged the police to take action to prevent it.
Clashes broke out between some protesters and a gang of men armed with sticks in North Point on Monday night.
On Tuesday, many shops in the area remained shut and some establishments, including some major banks, sent their workers home early fearing more violence.
The front's Kalvin Ho told RTHK's Jimmy Choi that there have been messages going around that some gangs are planning another attack in North Point on Sunday.
Ho said innocent people and peaceful protesters have been attacked by groups of armed men in several districts in the past few weeks.
He said he thinks the police have not been doing enough to bring these attackers to justice and his group is taking the step of filing a report with the police to try to prevent violence this weekend in North Point.
