Police have begun an investigation after two suspected petrol bombs were thrown, triggering a fire at an entrance to a school in Tsing Yi in the early hours of Friday.
No one was hurt in the blaze at Lok Sin Tong Leung Chik Wai Memorial School, which later issued a statement condemning the incident.
Police say they received a report at 1am on Friday from a security guard, saying he saw two men in dark-coloured clothing acting suspiciously.
The guard believed they threw the petrol bombs before fleeing the scene.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made so far.
