Police have seized HK$63 million worth of cannabis buds in Mai Po, the second biggest seizure of the drug in Hong Kong.
Officers found 280 kg of the drug and arrested a 41-year-old man when they raided a warehouse on Friday.
The man, who's believed to be a leading member of the drugs syndicate, has been charged with drug trafficking and will appear in the Kowloon City Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Officers said they believed the drugs were transported from North America for consumption here.
