Police are hunting three men after a knife attack on two people on Harbour Road in Wan Chai early on Saturday morning. Local media say mainland billionaire Qian Fenglei, a director of Universal Holdings, was one of those attacked, along with his assistant.
Police say the two victims, surnamed Qian and Fang, suffered wounds to their head, legs and back and were taken in a conscious state to Ruttonjee Hospital before being transferred to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.
They say the attack on the two men, both in their forties, happened between midnight and 1 am on Saturday.
Police are investigating the motive. The case has been classified as wounding
