The secretary of police commissioner Raymond Siu has tested preliminary positive for Covid-19, the force said on Monday.

A government statement said Siu’s rapid test came back negative.

It said the secretary last worked on March 17 and had not been in contact with members of the public.

It added that she had worn masks and abided by various disease prevention measures while at work.

Officials said the workplace concerned had been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
