Police say they have arrested two men, aged 56 and 57, in connection with a murder case. Their arrest in Kwai Tsing in the early hours of Saturday came a day after a 55-year-old woman died in hospital, after being found injured at home by her son in Cheung Sha Wan last Sunday.

Police claim she had been attacked with a hard object by two men outside 757 Lai Chi Kok Road and that her gold necklace had been stolen.

Police said the men were being detained, pending further enquiries, and that a postmortem would take place to determine the cause of death.
