The Peak Tram is raising fares by as much as 15 percent from next month.
A round-trip ticket for an adult going to and from Central's Garden Road to Victoria Peak will rise from HK$45 to HK$52 from March 1, while a one-way ticket will cost HK$37 instead of HK$32 at present.
The company says the hike has been triggered by a jump in operating costs, including those spent on the repair and maintenance of the system and tracks.
The last fare rise was in September 2016.
