Hong Kong on Sunday reported one imported Covid-19 case, involving a 34-year-old patient who had recently been to Mexico.
Health officials said the woman flew in on August 7 and stayed at the Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi during her quarantine period.
She did not show any symptoms, and tested preliminary positive on August 10.
Over the past fortnight, the SAR reported 48 cases, one of which was a local infection with an unknown source.
