Hong Kong reported 794 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, as the territory's daily infection figure stayed below 1,000 for a second consecutive day.
Among the new cases were 12 travellers who flew in from places including Amsterdam, Vancouver and Singapore.
Almost 450 of the new cases were confirmed through PCR tests, while the rest were reported by people who took rapid tests.
Health authorities also reported the deaths of 41 more Covid patients.
The patients who died were aged between 44 and 103, about a third of whom were unvaccinated.
With some face-to-face classes expected to gradually resume after the Easter holidays, officials reiterated their calls for parents to get their children vaccinated.
"The best protection is still vaccination, even though it may not prevent a child from being infected, but it's helpful against serious conditions or death," said Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan from the Centre for Health Protection.
She added that there could be a slight rebound in cases as social distancing measures are scheduled to start easing on April 21.
