NOW TV staffer gives early positive result for virus

NOW TV news said on Monday that it's evacuated its Wan Chai office after a video editor gave a preliminary positive result for Covid-19.

But the broadcaster says it's activated a backup plan to have the news team work from a separate office so it can stay on air.

It says the third floor of its office in Telecom House will be cleansed, and it would continue to provide news through different platforms.

It's unclear how many journalists came into contact with the video editor in question.
