Several people have brought along tools to remove anti-extradition protest notes posted on a so-called Lennon Wall outside Cheung Sha Wan MTR station. They were responding to an online call for a flash-mob clean-up campaign in the district.
A rival group chanted pro-democracy slogans and held up a banner but the two sides didn't confront each other.
Lennon walls have become a flash-point for pro-government and pro-democracy supporters. On Saturday about a dozen men in light-blue shirts, and waving Chinese flags, stripped another Lennon Wall outside Fortress Hill MTR, attacking at least two men. Anti-extradition protesters have since recovered the wall with notes.
Also on Saturday, a group of middle-aged people reportedly tore down posters at a Lennon Wall in Hang Hau.
This led to a melee and one man said he suffered injuries to his limbs and face after he was attacked.
