Health authorities on Wednesday said no new cases were found after 710 residents were tested for Covid-19 overnight in North Point.

The lockdown at Two Island Place was imposed after a resident tested preliminary positive.

The 22-year-old man had flown in from Serbia in mid-September and had been vaccinated with Covishield in India in July after being infected with the virus there.

He was classified as a "re-positive" overseas case.

On Tuesday authorities confirmed 13 new imported cases while Qatar Airways was banned from operating passenger flights from Doha for two weeks, after four arrivals on a Sunday flight were confirmed with the virus.
