The Department of Health's Centre for Health Protection says it is investigating two suspected food poisoning clusters after nine people fell ill following meals at a Causeway Bay restaurant this month.
The first involved a male and six females, aged between two and 62. They developed abdominal pain, after having dinner at the restaurant last Wednesday. The second involved two women, both aged 18, who developed similar symptoms, after eating lunch at the same business last Thursday.
Seven of the nine sought medical advice, with two having to go to hospital. One has now been discharged.
The CHP said everyone who had fallen sick was in a stable condition.
