MTR services are to continue to run later on Thursday than in recent days, although some light rail services will remain closed, as will Tseung Kwan O Station.

The MTR Corporation announced on Thursday morning that services would continue to operate until 9pm, after stopping trains at 8pm since services resumed following a weekend of vandalism that saw the complete closure of the network over the holiday weekend.

The corporation announced late on Wednesday that Kwun Tong Station would reopen on Thursday. Mong Kok Station is also open once again.

However Tseung Kwan O Station remained closed, and free shuttle buses will operate from there to Tiu Keng Leng.

Several light rail services were suspended or diverted, while the Yau Oi, Tin Wing, Ginza, Tin Wu, Tin Tsz and Tin Shui Wai stops remain closed.
