Some MTR facilities on the Kowloon side came under attack on Saturday as protesters took to the streets against the government's new anti-face mask law.
When the marchers passed the Jordan station of the MTR, some demonstrators tried to destroy wooden boards that were used by the rail operator to seal an exit.
The demonstrators used metal rods and hammers to break it down, but failed to achieve their end.
The rail operator said protesters had also set fire to one of the exits at Lai Chi Kok station.
Some demonstrators also vandalised the Kowloon Government Offices as the marchers passed Yau Ma Tei area. Some glasses were shattered and some graffiti were painted on the walls.
One fire hose facility was also damaged and water leaked to the road at one point.
The Cheung Sha Wan Government Officers also came under siege, as protesters damaged fire extinguishers there and spray painted the walls. Riot police soon arrived at the scene and surrounded the building, but the vandals had left by then.
Earlier an exit at Kowloon Tong MTR station also came under attack after someone hurled petrol bombs at it.
Police have condemned the throwing of petrol bombs in a statement, and warned "rioters to stop all illegal acts immediately".
Officers said the incident happened at around 3pm, when more than one petrol bomb was thrown into the station, damaging facilities like ticketing machines and turnstiles there.
No one was injured in the incident, and G1 and G2 exits of the station are now closed.
